anastazja is a twenty year old polish girl, who moved to wardenstown ten months ago with her son, kaspar. she's a compulsive smoker with a cheerful attitude to life, and tries to keep a good balance between partying like a normal twenty year old and being a good mother.
FRIENDS: anastazja hasn't been living in northern ireland for very long, some I'm not sure if she would have many close friends, but it'd be nice for her to have some buds already.
* ana is bff with andy. they became friends when kaspar made a charge for andy in the square one day, and soon became close buds since andy loved the little boy so much. andy acts as a bit of a father figure for kaspar.
* ana met lara throught the warehouse and formed a friendship with the younger girl by acting like a mother figure and mentor to her as she was a good influence to keep lara straight edge. lara also gets on with kaspar and acts as a babysitter for the little boy, until josh moves in and tensions appear when he doesn't show a fondness for the teenager.
ROMANCE: while she's not the most flirty of people, ana is a pretty girl so I'm sure she'd get some male attention. she likes to have a good time, and like most people is inclined to do things some would frown upon when she has a drink.
* in ana's eyes she is nothing more than best friends with andy, and there is no 'spark' to suggest anything more. when he breaks up with drydan he tries to kiss her, but ana shoves him away, declaring her love for josh. to save face, andy tells drydan he is going out with ana, causing rifts between ana and drydan, and ana and josh.
* ana becomes friends with josh when they meet at kaspar and rodger's mother and toddler group. they quickly form a good friendship which leads to a relationship. they have a falling out when josh hears the rumour about andy and ana kissing/dating. the normally passive chap snaps at ana, and the couple have their first full blown fight, which involves ana storming out then coming back because she remembers it's her flat. after they talk it out and cry and apologise, the make up and go back to playing happy family. long story short, they're final.
ENEMIES: as a polish girl living in northern ireland, it's probably inevitable that ana would come across some people that didn't like her for nationality. while I'm not saying someone should plot as a straight up racist, it's an idea.
* when ana first moved to wardenstown she met drydan and became fast friends with him as he helped her to settle in. they remain friends until andy tells drydan that he is going out with ana. taking this as the ultimate betrayal, drydan stops talking to ana and leaves her confused as to what she did wrong. after not talking to each other for a good time because of the lie, they soon uncover the crossed wires and make up.
