Lara McNabb
The relationship between Lara and Mark is an odd one. She has a full blown crush on him, and he thinks of her as nothing more as an attractive nuiscance in his life. It's pretty much a case of treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen. Mark grows fond of Lara over time, and much to her fathers dismay a proper relationship develops between the two. Popa McNabb has an argument with Lara and she walks out, going over to Ballybeen to stay with Mark. Mark turns around and tells her that she can't stay with him, much to Lara's dismay. She goes off to stay with Lara, with obvious anger for Mark.
I have no set plot for Mark's past in young offenders and the UDA coming back to haunt him, but there is going to be a plot involving Mark going back to the paramilitaries. I haven't quite figured out why or how, but if anyone wants involved with this hit me up and we can throw some ideas together.
